Vervisch racing with audi factory-supported team, for the 24h of NürburgringA strong Audi line-up for the 24 Hours at the Nürburgring: In Germany’s major endurance race to be held from May 25 to 28, Audi Sport customer racing will be supporting Audi Sport Team Land and Audi Sport Team WRT. The two teams will each be fielding two Audi R8 LMS cars. Twelve professional race drivers, including six winners from previous years, are going to share the cockpits in the iconic endurance race.
The Audi campaigners at the Nürburgring combine experiences from GT3 racing, the DTM and Le Mans and are aiming to clinch the fourth victory for the brand since 2012. Racing pros Christopher Haase, Christopher Mies, Nico Müller, René Rast, Frank Stippler and Markus Winkelhock have previously decided the iconic race on the Nordschleife in their favor. They will be supported by Connor De Phillippi and Kelvin van der Linde. Like Haase, Rast and Mies, these two campaigners have previously won the ADAC GT Masters overall classification. Three-time Le Mans winner Marcel Fässler, longtime sports car driver Pierre Kaffer, Blancpain GT Champion Robin Frijns and former Formula 3 Cup winner Frédéric Vervisch complete the line-up. In Audi Sport Team WRT, Audi has the winning squad of the 2015 24-hour race at the Nürburgring on board as well. “We’re poised for fierce competition with a strong line-up,” says Chris Reinke, Head of Audi Sport customer racing. “In addition, we’re again expecting several customer teams to be competing in the Audi R8 LMS this year.” 1st of June 2016

Qualified for top 30 qualifying 24H of Nürbürgring, thanks to qualification time set by VervischVLN 2, Nordschleife, Germany.
Teaming up for the 24 hours of Nürbürgring, Robin Frijns, Ed Sandström, Stuart Leonard and Frédéric Vervisch, qualified their Audi R8 for the "top 30 qualifying" of the biggest event at the "Green Hell". Thanks to a 4th best time in qualifying of VLN 2, set by Frédéric Vervisch during his 2nd time with a GT3 on the Nordschleife, this means they will start the 24H race in a top 30 position, in any case. Frédéric took a terrific start during VLN 2, going to first place in the opening lap. Unfortunately they had to retire early, due to a crash, after the Belgian tried to pass a competitor who got a blue flag, but didn't see the flag nor the Audi. Very promising team for the 24H of Nürbürgring though, that will be held on the last weekend of May. 10th of April 2016
Season kicks off with victory at MisanoRound 1-Main race Blancpain Sprint Series, Misano.
Starting from P3, Frédéric Vervisch had a very good kick-off, taking second in first lap and putting great pressure on the leader, Eng’s BMW, whom he would pass with a very bold, but clean move in lap 11. This way, Vervisch returned the car to Laurens Vanthoor in first place. The best pit stop of the race, gave them some extra seconds advantage. “I managed to keep the first place, but it wasn’t like cruising around, because the Mercedes behind me had better pace”, says Laurens. 27th of February 2016

Frédéric Vervisch sets pace for AUDI during official testing days
Pre-season official testing of Blancpain Endurance Series that ended yesterday at Paul Ricard converted the work done by team I.S.R. racing over winter to prepare the debut season in the series into very promising indications.
The two Audi R8 LMS ultra lined up by the Czech team turned out to be very competitive in both days and set the pace among the coupes of the house of the four rings in several sessions. Marco Bonanomi (ITA), Frédéric Vervisch (BEL) and Filip Salaquarda (CZ) on car number 75 ended both two days in P6 (1'57.476 and 1'57.324 the best lap times). Anders and Thomas Fjordbach (DEN) lapped on Wednesday on the number 74 car working mainly on the race pace, while Fabio Onidi (ITA) made his debut, taking over from Thomas Fjordbach, on Thursday. Car 74 had quite a busy schedule that allowed the team to clock 59 laps on the first day and a solid 100 in the second, a very handy mileage to verify the reliability of some components ahead of the races.
Igor Salaquarda (I.S.R. racing, Team Principal):
"Drivers and team completed an excellent work, combining performance hunting to race pace optimization. We met all the goals we set ahead of us. Our best times position as well within the top-ten, that was also the best result for Audis. Regarding reliability, we put a lot of kilometers under our belts without any problem".
Team I.S.R. racing will get on track in Misano Adriatico next 18 and 19 March for a further testing session and shortly after in Monza for the Blancpain Endurance Series 2015 opener.
